I would like to welcome you to my website. There is only one page to keep things as simple as possible and for a more enjoyable visit. At the age of 10 Mike received a guitar as a gift from his mother which will change the course of his life forever. At 19 years old, Mike moved into an apartment in Hull, Quebec to begin his musical career. Mike gave his first professional performance in 2004 at the University of Québec in Outaouais, which opened the doors to many great opportunities such as: The opening shows for Mélanie Renaud in 2006, Les Respectables in 2007, Les Cowboys Fringants in 2007, a show for the Governor General Michaëlle Jean in 2008, second place on 80 band competition in Beloeil, Québec, main artist at the Saint-Jean Baptiste day in 2008 in Beloeil, Québec, a few performances at the Maison de la Culture de Gatineau in 2008, a show at the Théâtre du Casino (Gatineau) in 2010 with Jonas, Michel Pagliaro, Marjo with Luc Boivin and musicians from Belle and Bum, a show at the Metropolis in Montreal with Mario Pelchat, Martin Deschamps, Joanne Blouin, Manon D'Iverness and Pascal Mailloux and his musicians, just to mention a few. During 2007-2008, Mike recorded his first album produced by Production Chap at Studio Capitale in Gatineau. The owner, Martin Bédar is the winner of a Felix and Juno award and was also in the famous Québec band called "La Chicane". After several months of recording, Mike launched his 1st English album March 4th 2008 called "The Way" using a blues-rock-folk style. The album is available on the Internet (iTunes) and in some stores in Gatineau, Québec. Following the release of his album, Mike has experienced success with the media in the Gatineau/Ottawa area, with over fifteen television interviews, several radio interviews and a few newspaper articles over the past 3 years. Mike took a year off between January 2009 and January 2010 to spend more time with his family and make important decisions. For some time Mike is representing himself and is 100% without any contracts and wants to work on a new album Pop-Rock album... |
